Vulnerable people to receive advice in their own homes thanks to new service
11 October 2019 09:32
We are excited to announce we will be delivering a new home visiting service for disabled people and their carers throughout the districts of Arun and Chichester.
Thanks to new funding received from The National Lottery Community Fund, we’ll be delivering advice covering areas such as welfare benefits, debt and money, housing, employment, relationships/family and immigration, in people’s homes.
This is a service that we know is needed in our community. We believe that no one should have to face complicated problems without good quality, independent advice. We know that there are some people who need face-to-face advice but can’t access our services because of their health or caring commitments.
The new service means that we are not restricted to helping people of a certain age or with only one kind of enquiry; we will provide a holistic service to anyone that needs our service.
We’re currently recruiting for advisers to join our team of Home Visitors so if you’re interested in the role, please email Charlie Young – firstname.lastname@example.org - and if you’d struggle to come to our centres and need an appointment, call our admin team on 01243 866233.
