The Innovation project is funded by the BEIS (The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy) in order to learn about improving access to remote advice.
Our previous research highlighted the difficulties that those with various disabilities have accessing our services. To resolve this, we want to implement a quick-link video conferencing software, improved possibilities for document sharing and having equipment with partner organisations in the community.
For this project we will be grouped with other local Citizens Advice services who are either addressing similar inequalities or using similar techniques.
It is an exciting new project that will help shape the future of advice for the whole of the Citizens Advice organisation.
We also have a blog to keep you up to date on new developments with the project, if you’d like to follow the project/get updates on its progress – please scroll down to the heading ‘Keep up to date’ and follow the link.
